    For hair, you can just trace around the hair, and then erase it with fine strokes.

    Slow, but top quality in my opinion.

    I never contemplated using preview before extract, or using the eraser to fine tune it before I do the extraction; but I think I’ll will in the future; thank you.
    A good way to get all those areas that were cut out that you want back is by using the history brush, and then using the eraser if you add back too much!

    There is only one brush in the Extract Filter. The bigger you make it, the softer it is, I think.
